What is Fioritet?


Acetaminophen is indicated for pain relief and fever.
Butalbital belongs to the class of barbiturates that obscure the functions of the central nervous system (brain and nerve impulses), causing relaxation.
Caffeine constricts blood vessels, the dilation of which leads to tension headaches.
Combined, acetaminophen, butalbital, and caffeine are used to relieve general tension (muscle contractions) and headaches, although it is not known exactly how the drug works.
Fioritet may be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

Method of using fioriceta

Fioritet should be taken in strict accordance with the instructions of the doctor. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for specific indications.
Take each dose with a full glass of water.
If fioriceta irritates the stomach, take it with food or milk.
Do not exceed the prescribed dose of fioricet under any circumstances. If painful sensations persist, consult a doctor.
Fioritet should be stored at room temperature in a cool dry place.

Precautions for taking fioricet

The need to take precautions when driving, operating industrial equipment, or performing other hazardous work. Butalbital may cause drowsiness or dizziness. If you feel dizzy or sleepy, refrain from hazardous activities.
You should not take sleeping pills, antihistamines, sedatives, and tranquilizers without medical supervision. All of these drugs also increase drowsiness.

What should you discuss with your doctor before taking fioricet?

This drug is addictive and should be taken under strict medical supervision. Take your medication within the prescribed period, strictly observing the dosage and frequency of use.

If you drink more than three drinks a day, or if you have alcohol-related liver disease, do not take fioricet without talking to your doctor. In this case, you will not be able to take fioricet, or you will need a reduced dose.

This mixture of drugs passes into breast milk and can affect the baby during breastfeeding. If you are a nursing mother, do not take this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Fioritet is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

What are the possible side effects of fioricet?

Stop taking fioriceta immediately and call your doctor if you experience any of the serious side effects listed below:


an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; narrowing of the airways; swelling of the lips, tongue, face; or rash);
rarely, weak weak breath;
liver damage (yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes, nausea, abdominal pain or discomfort, unusual bleeding or bruising, severe fatigue);
blood disorders (unusual bleeding or bruising); or
low blood sugar (fatigue, severe hunger or thirst, dizziness or loss of consciousness).

dizziness, confusion, or a feeling of emptiness in the head;
shallow breathing;
dry mouth;
nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or decreased appetite;
tiredness, leg pain, or muscle weakness;
agitation, irritability, nervousness, restlessness, or increased excitability;
rash or itching;
feeling of intoxication;
headache; or
constipation.
Butalbital may be habit-forming.
Other side effects may occur that are not covered in this guide. Any unusual side effects, especially those that are of concern to you, should be reported to your doctor.
